Grand Opening Invite

The Mercado at Stokame Artist Colony will celebrate its official grand opening with a Siete de Mayo party, 4-6 p.m. SL on May 7. DJ and resident artist myvegancookbook Bolissima will be spinning at the Cantina, so come by for an evening of music and fun.

Pinata Hunt

 

The event also kicks off our Pinata Hunt. Any time between 4 p.m. SL on May 7 and midnight SL on May 13, you can visit each of the Mercado stores to find a colorful pinata. Strike the pinatas to collect them for the grand prize, a collection of gifts from our merchants. The grand prize is available when you have found all 15 pinatas.

Stokame Artist Colony
The Stokame Artist Colony is a planned sim, meant to house and promote new SL designers, builders and artists.  Our community on Osa Menor allows renters to have a living, working and storefront area all in one price and communal sim.  The goal is for all resident artists to live and interact with one another, to gain networking and knowledge in a collaborative space.

The 10 plots at SAC are rental properties (renters do not own or sell the land), to promote growth of SL artists.  A new artist can have the initial support of the community, and easily grow and move on to larger space with the increase of sellable goods.  Not to say we want the community to be transient!  On the contrary, we hope to grow and prosper together for as much time as the sim can support the community.

What Does a Rental at SAC Include?
– 600 prims to split between house, building box and storefront
Items below do not count in your rental prim count, so more prims to use for living and working!
– A beach shack on an ocean front plot in Osa Menor (if you would like to use your own shack design, this will count towards your prim rental and must fit with SAC look and feel)
– A private builders box
– A market stall for you to sell your goods (may change to shop space with enough interest from residents)
– Classified ad and search listing for SAC marketplace to promote all resident work

What are the rental prices?

Standard rental for each plot is 1200L per week.
If you would like to have additional prims, more prims for use can be negotiated for an additional cost of 2L per prim.
Commercial-only rentals are available at the SAC Mercado for 2.5L per prim.
Coming soon, SAC will offer skybox rentals for residents!
